Galloway v. County of Nassau, No. 24-1785 (2d Cir.)

Josiah Galloway was wrongfully convicted and served more than a decade in prison, because police officers used suggestive photo arrays, a suggestive lineup, and coerced a witness to submit a false statement—and withheld any mention of that from his defense team. All Rise, with the National Police Accountability Project and Mr. Galloway’s trial counsel, is defending a denial of qualified immunity against the officers’ appeal to the Second Circuit.

Update: The Second Circuit has affirmed the denial of QI.
